Every year Moen donates the kitchen sink, kitchen faucet, lavatory faucets and bath faucets.  This year they stepped forward with a large donation coupled with a willing and able group of volunteers to build one house.  Their funding along with their volunteers helped the Garcia family obtain the American dream of home ownership.  Our special thanks goes out the Moen Corporation sand their great volunteers.

Dow  chemical provided stryfoam products for our foundations and walls.  Lorain County HfH utilized 2” blue-board around our foundations along with 1” wall sheathing. This donation was one of the major factors in achieving our Five Star Energy rating for all four houses completed this year.  Kudos to Dow!

The donation of 1,000 tons of stone from LaFarge helped us reduce our costs and make our houses more affordable this year.  They also arranged for a donation of the trucking expenses involved.  Again another heartfelt THANKS.

Owens Corning donated shingles to Lorain County HfH.  So far we have covered the roofs of four houses this year.  This is another example of a very generous donation that helped reduce our costs.

The friendly people at Willow Rental made our lives at habitat a lot easier this year. They generously donate the use of many of the tools and equipment we use to build our houses. Without their contribution we couldn’t get our houses done on time and on budget.

Whirlpool donates a range and an Energy Star refrigerator to every new home built in North America. Besides being one of Habitat’s global partners, thousands of employees volunteer yearly.
